Limiting Factor Opens to Individual Athletes
The platform no longer requires a unit. Individual athletes preparing on their own get an adaptive plan that resolves against a stated goal and date, with progress projection, injury- and equipment-aware programming, safety screening before load is prescribed, and scheduling keyed to the athlete's own timezone. Unit-managed athletes and solo athletes now run on the same engine.
Limiting Factor Completes the Staff Operating Layer
A twelve-phase build closed out the coaching side: structured test standards with an automated scorer, score-versus-gate status surfaced everywhere, cohort readiness boards keyed to a selection date, an explicit caseload model with coach triage, purpose-built Assistant Coach and Military Training Leader roles, and a selection-outcome ledger that closes the loop between what an athlete was programmed and how they actually fared at selection.
MIMIR Moves to an Open-Weights Foundation
MIMIR's training program retargeted onto a permissively-licensed open-weights base — Apache-2.0, with no field-of-use restriction and no anti-circumvention clause — continue-pretrained on the AESIR SOF corpus. The weights are downloaded, modified, and held by AESIR rather than rented from a vendor API, which keeps air-gapped deployment on the table and removes the cloud round-trip that rules commercial AI out of cleared environments.
Limiting Factor Adds Delta Selection Pipeline
The Limiting Factor platform now serves a 24-week Delta selection preparation program built from MTI methodology and USARIEM research. Includes progressive ruck volume to 50 mi/week, a six-day simulation block, and integrated GTG calisthenics protocol.
