AESIR is a founder-funded defense-technology company with one product in the field and no revenue yet. Limiting Factor is a selection-training platform in daily use by an Air Force EOD training squadron with 100+ trainees, covering 13 special-warfare and EOD pipelines, with a solo mode open to the public. The other four systems — HEIMDALL in private use, SINDRI and MIMIR paused, BIFROST at concept stage — generate no revenue today, and we describe each by where it stands rather than where we intend it to go.
The plan is a vertically integrated program: HEIMDALL is intended to become the commercial arm that funds R&D, MIMIR the self-hosted model under the software, and BIFROST the hardware at the far end. This page labels each by what exists today.
THE INVESTMENT THESIS
Five Products, One Team
Vertical integration eliminates duplicate engineering, marketing, and infrastructure costs. Every product will share the same AI backbone (MIMIR), the same security posture (SINDRI), and the same operator-grade quality bar.
Founder-Funded, Built to Self-Fund
Operating costs are founder-funded and no outside capital has been raised. HEIMDALL is intended to become the commercial arm that funds hardware and cyber R&D; it generates no revenue today.
Defense Hardware Moat
BIFROST targets a constraint no current rebreather addresses. Export-controlled hardware (jurisdiction to be determined), SBIR-pathway, with a market that has no direct substitute. It is a concept today; no hardware exists yet.
AI Sovereignty
MIMIR runs on weights AESIR holds, not an API AESIR rents. The base is Apache-2.0 open-weights — no field-of-use restriction, no anti-circumvention clause, no per-token vendor billing — domain-adapted on a proprietary SOF corpus and deployable air-gapped. No cloud round-trip, no vendor lock-in, no data-sovereignty issue. Defense customers cannot route operational data through a commercial cloud — they need exactly what we are building.
CURRENT MILESTONES
HEIMDALL — Private Use
Multi-tenant lead-intelligence and trading-research engine running on AESIR infrastructure. Outreach runs in mock mode and trading against a paper account; commercialization has not started and no revenue has been generated.
LIMITING FACTOR — In Daily Use
In daily use by an Air Force EOD training squadron, 100+ trainees. 13 special-warfare and EOD pipelines, 19 programs in all. Multi-team architecture in service; solo mode open to the public.
SINDRI — Built, Paused
Autonomous bug-bounty reconnaissance and triage, built and installed. Six reports submitted across five programs in spring 2026, no bounties paid; nothing submitted since May 2026.
BIFROST — SBIR Phase II Target
Architecture complete, bench prototype in procurement. AFRL/AFWERX SBIR Phase II is the immediate target; export-control classification pending.
MIMIR — Prototype, Paused
A from-scratch 100M-parameter prototype was trained to ~213M tokens on an AESIR-assembled corpus; the program has since retargeted onto an Apache-2.0 open-weights base (Qwen3) with a 0.6B proof-of-concept merge. A larger continued-pretraining run is planned but not yet funded or scheduled.
